Time to First Byte — the time from when the browser sends an HTTP request until it receives the first response byte from the server. Server processing time is affected by CDN distance and network latency. TTFB is effective in Google's LCP account. Good TTFB: Under 200ms. Applications: CDN, server-side caching, optimized database queries.
